So, What's the Problem? I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

It's the final episode of Sequel Month, here on So, What's the Problem? Jimmy and Jen are back in the world of horror with this lacklustre sequel that was rushed into production after the success of the first movie. They talk about teen girls in movies, commonsensnsemedia.org and Jimmy gives far too much thought to the plot of the movie. More than the actual filmmakers do. Contains strong language.

This is, like, the 50th time Julie screams in the movie...

Fringe Division- 1:18- Midnight

Jimmy and Martin are almost at the finale but first, they must chat about this pretty okay episode. Along the way, the praise the guest cast, complain about a certain character again and discuss their dislike for the way Americans pronounce Scottish cities. No offence meant to all Americans. Just the ones who don't understand that Scotland is part of Britain (kidding). Contains strong language.

So, What's the Problem? Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993)

Sequel month continues with Jen's second pick, Sister Act 2. It's an enjoyable movie with very little wrong with it but, don't we all need something fun and light on occasion? Especially after last week's movie. I don't think Jen will forgive Jimmy for that. As well as the movie, they talk about the cast, aging and Jimmy learns the legend of Riley Weston.

So... not cool, then?

Fringe Division 1.17: Bad Dreams

So, here we are, folks, at the final stretch of season one of the hit TV show, Fringe. And it's a a good episode, yay! And we finally hear the voice of William Bell!  In this episode of the podcast, Jimmy and Martin discuss, Star Trek the lyrics to Nellie the Elephant and Martin explains part of the plot to his Scottish comrade. They also ponder whether or not to cover the "lost" episode of season one. Contains strong language.

So, What's the Problem? Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Sequel month continues with a spicy one. Jimmy would like to apologise to those who love this movie... but neither of the hosts do. And that's okay. There's still some good stuff in there, of course but Jimmy and Jen are here to talk about the bad. I mean, it's the point of the podcast.  Contains strong language.

At least this movie spawned one of Jimmy's favourite GIFs of all time-

Fringe Division 1:16- Unleashed

Sadly, it's another pretty "blah" episode of Fringe (as Martin predicted) as a member of the team that's not really a member of the team gets infected by a giant hybrid creature. It sounds great but it's a dull trope-fest with a non-sensical character moment for Walter. Jimmy and Martin also talk about WandaVision (no spoilers) and insult the French. Contains strong language.

So, What's the Problem? The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)

It's sequel month here at "So, What's the Problem?" and we are starting with this very 90s follow-up to a very 70s classic. Also, this is being released on the 47th anniversary of the release of the original novel. Topics include toxic masculinity, casting folk who look far too old to be teens and a very hot take about a beloved reviewer. Contains strong language and adult themes.

Frigging love this shot...

Fringe Division 1:15- Inner Child

It's episode fifteen of the hit TV show, Fringe and Martin and Jimmy talk about Buffy. Oh and Fringe, of course. Is this a filler episode or one that sets up more of the mythology? Or is it both? Neither host knows but they chat about it anyway. Contains strong language.

The Labyrinth (1986) Problem

We're back, happy 2024! Jimmy and Jen ring in the New Year with a discussion on a childhood fave of the former. Is it a whimsical fanta...
